The team of staff at Playbox Nursery are dedicated and passionate about ensuring that children achieve the learning outcomes and reach their full potential.

Our aim is to enhance the development of all children from 2 to 5 years of age. We offer a high ratio of adults to children, which enables us to give individual care and attention, as well as fun and friendship with other children and adults.

Mrs Mansfield

I started at Playbox in 1995 when it first opened as an Assistant where two of my three children attended, then became Deputy Manager qualified at NVQ level 3 in Early years childcare and education after stepping down in 2014 but returned as Administrator in 2015.

In my spare time I am involved with Sudbury musicals society where I make costumes for our shows, also I love gardening and time with my family.

Mrs Gillett

I have recently joined the Playbox team.  My daughter attended and loved  Playbox and consequently I volunteered periodically, doing music and movement with the children and bringing in my large dog during pet week.  I have a degree in performance arts and love having the opportunity to engage children with any aspect of performance or expressing themselves through creativity.  I ran a music session for a local toddler group for many years and organised and ran a small annual theatrical production at the primary school which my daughter attended. I love to sing and play the piano and the cello and walk my gorgeous dog with my family.
