Dear Parents / Carers

Thank you to all the parents who came to parents evening and made it such a success. We were very appreciative of all the positive comments on the questionaire and will be passing these on to the management committee to read.

If you have any extra holidays booked for this term, if you could please let us know the dates it would be much appreciated.

Heat wave:

We will be experiencing an extreemly hot week this week and will be putting in extra precautions to keep the children safe, including regular drink reminders, a fan and limitied time outside in the sun. We have a lovely shady space for morning outside play.

**Please make sure that lunches contain an ice block**

In the Summer term can you PLEASE  can you put SUN CREAM on before coming to Playbox and provide a named hat, ideally a bucket or legionnaire for more neck and ear protection in order for them to play outside.

We have been helping the children who are off to school to be ready for this transition and their new teachers have been in to visit them. Transitioning to school can be a fun, but also daunting experience for children. This website may offer some helpful advice for parents at home . https://learningjournals.co.uk/what-is-school-readiness-and-what-it-mean-for-eyfs-free-checklist-included/

If you have any questions or anything you would like to share with staff about your child, the staff are always available for you to talk to in private.

*All 30 Hour and 2 year funded codes must be reconfirmed by August 31st for the Autumn  term (September 2026)*

If there are any fees outstanding for summer term 2, please could these be settled as our treasurer is finalising accounts. Thank you
